In our 20+ years’ experience of championing Employer Engagement within employment support and adult skills sectors, 4front Partners has seen the same problems play out across the UK;

• Programme commissioning creates multiple, confusing programmes across a disconnected supply system

• The employability and adult skills landscapes are complex and difficult for businesses to navigate

• Any business wishing to explore diverse recruitment and/or workplace development needs to engage with scores of providers to access training offers and fragmented talent pools

• Businesses want help to solve their problems, not to be sold to

• Many employment and skills providers admit to a lack of consistent training for practitioners engaging in business-to-business conversations

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The events are perfect for any practitioner or programme that relies on effective relationships with businesses including employment support, adult education, third sector organisations, Local Authorities, Jobcentre Plus – indeed anyone who connects with businesses to achieve their programme objectives.

We will hold events where there is most demand, so if you wish to have an event in your area, why not encourage local partners to fill in the expression of interest too.

These events are all about collaboration, so we are also seeking partners to help facilitate the events. Perhaps you have a large room that could be used to host an event, or you would like to sponsor some bursary tickets that allow charities to attend free of charge.
